DORNOCH HERITAGE SOCIETY The Dornoch Heritage Society is a lively social group with over 150 members; men and women of all ages who care about the past and the future of the Dornoch area. The principal aims of the Society are to preserve the character, history and traditions of the Parish of Dornoch; and to promote and maintain public interest and participation in such matters. People have lived in this area for over 6000 years. From Bronze Age hut circles to the Dornoch Light Railway, our members have been involved in unearthing evidence of their activities. Members are continually researching the events of the area and discovering more about its fascinating past. A programme of talks and events runs through the winter months and visits are arranged for the summer. New members are welcome. Last
