Ross Family

 Two sons of Paul and Colina Ross of 6 Well Street, Dornoch were killed in World War 1.

David Ross b 1894, serving as a Lance Sergeant with the 1st Battalion Seaforth Highlanders was killed in action on 9 May 1915 at Aubers Ridge aged 26. He has no known grave and is commemorated on Le Touret Memorial, Bethune, France Panel 38 & 39, on Dornoch War Memorial and Dornoch Cathedral Memorial Window and Roll of Honour.

Thomas (Tom) Paul Ross b 1899, serving as a Private with the 11th Battalion Machine Gun Corps was killed on 6 October 1918 aged 19 and is buried at Duisons British Cemetery, France and commemorated on the Dornoch War Memorial and Dornoch Cathedral Memorial Window and Roll of Honour.
